Dundalk Institute of Technology был основан в 1971 и в настоящий момент там обучается около 5700 человек, 300 из которых - международные студенты. Также институт предлагает занятия в более чем 70ти спортивных клубах (фехтование, боулинг, тхэквондо, сальса и многое другое).
